He is also a metalworker, and after being asked to repair the huge antiquated lock on the Gibraltar Point lighthouse, he offered to look after the decommissioned landmark, as the Parks Department didn’t have the resources. He also makes cargo bikes and drives a beautiful ex-lifeboat when he goes to the mainland.
